Lake Manyara, located in the valley of the Great Rift, gave us some beautiful views, and fun animal viewing. The park was the start of our week long safari in Tanzania. We stayed at the Lake Manyara Serena lodge located on a cliff overlooking the rift, with the pool water continuing right to the edge. The park was filled with playful baboons and monkeys, flamingos, pelicans, and giraffes. (Click on picture for larger view)
