One short drive across the border from Botswana brought us to Victoria Falls, one of the natural wonders of the world. We visited during the end of the dry season so the water level was very low, but still very beautiful. During our 24 hour stay we saw the falls, shopped, ate wild game, and took a helicopter ride over the falls. Unfortunately, Zimbabwe is currently in an economic crisis and it made for some interesting monetary transactions. U.S. Dollars were definitely king in this country.
