The New Otani is the hotel where I live, at least for now. It is famous for its incredible japanese gardens, which are said to be some of the oldest in Tokyo - they are about 400 years old.
This is the view one sees when one first walks from the
tea room and on into the garden.
This is a massive rock garden - sort of along the lines
of little kits with pebbles and sand, but different.
Close up of a flower in the flower bed from the above
garden.
This is a view across a pond. There is an old stone lamp
on the other side.
Here is one of the many very small water falls in the
gardens. Can you see the goldfish at the bottom?
One of the more beautiful carp in the ponds.
These are the main falls at the New Otani Gardens. They
are about 15 feet high.
